How to repair a crashed table

I had a crashed searchindex table in my MediaWiki, so I:

• Connect to the server

#mysql -u root -p

• Connect to the database

mysql> use wikidb;

• check data

mysql> check table searchindex;

• fix it

mysql> repair table searchindex;
