These handy Quick Reference Guides are PDF's that I made myself from my own experience, but they are always based on the original Service Manuals.
They typically contain handy notes, diagrams, handy circuit board layouts that I made, instructions, partlists etc. Sometimes they contain other information that is not found in the Service Manual but that years of shared experience have revealed, like faulty components etc. Use them to repair your equipment.
I make them available to everyone for free download, to help you with your repairs and with your hobby.
The QRG's are useful when servicing the reel-to-reel tape deck in question. Print them out and keep them next to the deck you're working on so you won't have to scroll through large SM's continuously.
These QRG's are to be used alongside the original Service Manual.
These QRG's are constantly updated with new information and also errata. Every time I learn something new, I add it to the QRG. Be sure to always download the latest version from this page each time before you start service on your deck!
